About the Role
We have Multiple Vacancies in our facilities in WA, NSW and QLD.
Working closely with residents, their families and the multidisciplinary team, the Enrolled Nurse leads the assessment of the strengths and needs of individual residents and the development of individualized, person-centered support that promotes physical and emotional wellbeing.
his position provides direct clinical care in accordance with their scope of practice and oversees the delivery of clinical and allied health services for residents, including guidance to clinical and care staff. The EN coordinates and has leadership responsibilities for all resident care and works closely with the Clinical Manager in the identification of evidence based best practice and quality initiatives across the facility.
Salary: Enrolled Nurse: $25-$35 per hour + penalties

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides a range of clinical interventions, care and support, in consultation with the Registered Nurse and within the scope of enrolled nursing practice, to enhance and optimize the wellbeing of our residents.
- Confirms residents’ care plans meet the changing needs of residents when providing person-centred care.
- Models enabling care practices when meeting resident needs.
- Uses flexible and creative approaches with residents to meet duty of care whilst supporting residents’ rights to exercise maximum choice and control during everyday activities and residents’ rights to decline offers of support.
- Recognizes resident preferences, including personally significant cultural and spiritual practices, and incorporates these into everyday activities'
- Actively supports the resident to use and develop their abilities to engage in any activity that is personally meaningful to residents, including everyday activities.
Required Skills, Attributes and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing and current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse. (Graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Proven high level of clinical competencies with excellent clinical analysis, interpretation, and planning skills.
- Relates to the aged care population with empathy, understanding and respect.
- Sound understanding of care assessment and provision within the Aged and Health Care sectors.
- Ability to work flexibly within a multidisciplinary team environment.
